Why did you want a breast enlargement?
I had been wanting breast enlargement for a long time; I’d always known, even from a young age that I wanted it doing. I have a large family full of very busty woman and I was the only one with small boobies! Sometimes it made me feel like I was adopted! Before my op, I would always hide my breasts and wear clothes that weren’t really me because I felt like I couldn't dress how I wanted. For me, having the procedure was all about the way I felt and not for anyone else!
Now I've had my operation done, my confidence levels have literally gone through the roof
Where your friends and family supportive?
My friends and family were super supportive, I have very understanding parents and they had always known I had wanted it so it wasn't a shock to them. I know it's not as easy for some girls so I guess I got lucky on that part, just not lucky enough to be born with naturally big boobs haha!

Why did you choose MYA?
I chose MYA because my first impression was that I was so happy with them! I felt I didn’t have to look elsewhere as they were right for me.
How were your initial and surgeon consultations?
I went to MYA a year or two ago for my first consultation. This was just to find out more about the surgery, how much it costs, the recovery, how it's done etc.. My Patient Coordinator, Jade, was amazing. She was so lovely and gave me so much information; I didn't leave there thinking, ‘oh I wish I'd asked more questions’ and wasn’t unsure about anything. I didn’t go ahead straight away and came back after a year or two. I waited because I wanted to make sure it was the right decision for me and to save up for the operation (also hoping I'd maybe grow boobs by then, wishful thinking.) As soon as I was ready, I came back and had the same PC again, which was amazing because she remembered me! I had thought about this for a long time so I wanted to be booked in as quick as possible. After seeing Jade for the 2nd time, she got me in for surgery just over 2 months later, which was so exciting!
My surgeon was Dr Mounir and he was so warm and welcoming; he made you feel very at ease and the best thing was he listened to what I wanted and gave me the best advice to suit my body.
I can finally dress how I want to and I feel amazing
How did you feel on the day of surgery?
I had sooooo many different emotions running through me on the morning of my op!! Exited, anxious, nervous and also very impatient because I just wanted some boobies! The staff at the hospital were amazing; the nurses are all so friendly and easy to talk to, it just made the day a lot better having great people around me. I remember lying on the anaesthetic table having a good chat about Ibiza to the anaesthetist and next thing I know I'm waking up with a pair of incredible melons on my chest! I cannot describe the feeling in words - when you look down it is just surreal. It was the happiest moment of my life to date! All the waiting and hours and hours of stalking and researching finally paid off!
They are so perfect and exactly what I asked for!
How was your recovery?
A lot of people handle the recovery differently. Personally, mine was pretty rough for the first 4 days. Day 1 you're still pretty out of it so you don't really realise the pain you're in. Day 2 and 3, the painkillers are wearing off and it all kind of hits you at once. I guess for me, I wasn't prepared for the amount of pain I was about to go through but then it was my first ever operation. All I would say to any girl that's in so much pain is, ‘hang in there, it does feel like it's never going to end but it will and it's all worth it in the end!’. Day 4 starts to ease up but there’s still a lot of pain and abnormal sensations everywhere but it is getting easier. After day 5 finishes, it's all a breeze! That's when you start to take pictures; you're just so happy looking at them and you forget about the pain! After 7 days, your boobs are changing every day and they just keep getting better and better. 6 weeks down the line you forget they're there and they just become a part of you, kind of like they were always there!
I couldn't be happier with my results
How do you feel now?
Now I've had my operation done, my confidence levels have literally gone through the roof! I can finally dress how I want to and I feel amazing. MYA changed my life and the way I feel about myself which is the main thing. I would 110% recommend MYA to anyone, they have some brilliant people in the business that will be with you every step of your journey. I couldn't be happier with my results, they are so perfect and exactly what I asked for.

Any advice for girls considering surgery?
My advice to any girlies is a big one.. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Don't be afraid to ask silly questions, as there's probably 100 other girls wanting to know the same thing! And don't be afraid to do some major stalking, you will not regret it!!! Xx
