How did you tell your mum that you decided to have a procedure?

As a mum, how did you prepare for your surgery?

• "Arranged childcare and time off work and was honest with my eldest daughter"

• "Made sure my partner would be able to fetch my little boy from the nursery and knew the chores 😊"

• "Made sure I had childcare arranged. Easy meals ready to make, things prepped for them"

• "Made sure I had childcare for the day of surgery and people to help with school runs"

How do you feel your procedure has impacted your confidence/ mental health?

What advice would you give to other mums looking to have a procedure?

• "Don't let the fear of other people's judgement put you off"

• "Ensure you've got childcare for a few days after as you won't be able to do it all. I was in bed for 2 days"

• "Bend proof you house, get lots of support, batch cook & prepare them to know your limits!"
