What you need to know
Love Island star, TV personality and self-confessed tweakment fan Olivia Attwood has recently released a docuseries talking all about cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments in the UK.
After her success with her debut documentary ‘Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich’, she was keen to get behind the camera and explore the world of surgery, talking to surgeons and previous patients, as well as discussing her personal experience.
The series is split into five, one-hour episodes covering different areas of the body - face, boobs, bottoms, vaginas and penis - diving into reasons why people choose to undergo the procedures, the benefits they have and popular trends in cosmetic surgery.
Has Olivia Attwood had cosmetic surgery?
Olivia Attwood has been open about her time under the knife ever since she stepped into the limelight.
Admitting to having a cheap and quick boob job when she was younger, Attwood stressed the importance of doing your research before undergoing any kind of cosmetic surgery procedure.
She told The Times (January 2024) that around 12 months after getting her breast enlargement, she realised the implants were far too big for her frame, causing the skin to stretch and hang in an unflattering way.
What MYA says:
Those who have had a breast enlargement will know that it takes up to 12 months for the final result to reveal itself. Meaning, your breasts will look different during each stage of recovery before settling on your chest.
Having implants that are too big is common when patients choose a quick fix over a quality procedure and trusted advice from highly skilled and regulated surgeons.
Here at MYA, we only use Mentor implants. With a 98% patient satisfaction rate and a trustworthy reputation, Mentor breast implants are made from medical-grade cohesive silicone gel that has the natural ‘give’ of breast tissue.
You can choose your size, shape, profile, texture and placement, with the help and recommendations of our experienced surgeons.
What’s the verdict?
Cosmetic surgery procedures come with a whole host of benefits, including a boost in confidence and a symmetrical, in-proportion figure.
However, it’s important to be aware that you should always go to a trusted provider - like MYA Cosmetic Surgery - that is recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a registered cosmetic surgery provider.
Our surgeons pride themselves on recommending the most suitable procedure type and implant size for each patient based on the look they want to achieve and their physical proportions.
