I have booked my procedure. What does it mean for me?
There will be no change to your procedure date or your patient journey, MYA will continue to provide you with all services agreed with upon booking outlined by your patient coordinator and signed Terms and conditions.
I have had a procedure with MYA what does that mean for my aftercare?
There will be no change to your current 2 years aftercare policy outlined in your Terms and conditions. You must still attend all post op care appointments following your procedure.
I have an appointment booked what does that mean for me?
Your appointment will still take place. If you are no longer able to attend your appointment, we ask that you give us 48hrs notice by calling 03330141014.
I am waiting for revision surgery what does that mean for me?
The revision process remains the same. If you require a further update you can speak with a member of the MYA team on 03330141014.
Has MYA gone into administration?

I am waiting on a refund what does that mean for me?
Your refund will still be actioned under the current T&C’s stipulated in your MYA agreement.
Will my surgeon change?
No, the surgeon you have booked your procedure with will still remain your operating surgeon.
What will happen to the money I have already paid?
This will still count towards your procedure with your outstanding balance shown in your patient portal.
Why has MYA gone into administration?
The industry as a whole has had a long-standing issue over whether VAT should be charged on cosmetic surgery procedures dating back 20 plus years. However, over the last 18 months this has been escalated by H M Revenue and Customs directly with MYA. With this in mind and after very careful consideration, we have taken the action that we feel protects the business, staff and patients.
