Over the years, Iggy has gained as much attention for her enviable behind as her music. As she had hit after hit, whispers started that bum implants were the answer to her shapely curves. In 2014, the rapper featured on “Booty”, a track by MYA’s favourite bum idol Jennifer Lopez. Both stars flaunted their figures in the sexy video that accompanied the song, firmly establishing Iggy as the owner of one of the world’s most talked about bottoms.

Time and again the rapper has been forced to speak out against surgery allegations about her enviable behind. In an interview in June 2013, Iggy denied having any surgery on her bum stating: “Of course the butt is mine. I heard it's not a real butt, I've heard it's a number of things. I heard sometimes it's my underpants. I heard it's implants. All kinds of crazy things. 'It's my flesh, it's my butt”.

Whilst she continues to assure us that her bum is natural, the 25-year-old has been very honest about her breast augmentation. In a March 2015 interview, Iggy came clean about being tired of padding out her stage costumes and decided to tell-all about her breast enlargement. She said: “Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life.”

After her appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in May last year, the rapper’s gorgeous face appeared to have changed. Many assumed that the star had undergone various procedures to thin and straighten her nose and sharpen her jawline. But were the rumours true? Had Iggy had a nose job and chin implant to enhance her features?

What Iggy Azalea Says

Confirming the suspicions, the Aussie hit-maker admitted that she’d had a rhinoplasty. 'I'm not denying it. Denying it is lame”, she spoke out to a magazine in September 2015. 'I don't think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I've spoken about the changes I've made, like with my breasts.”

Iggy was straightforward about her decision to have surgery, saying: ''Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time, so I think it's important to wait and make sure it's the right choice.”

She continued to tell the magazine about her experience: ”Plastic surgery is an emotional journey. It's no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself - and it's no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it's a tough journey. There are things that I didn't like about myself that I changed through surgery. There are other things I dislike but I've learned to accept.'

The Verdict

Though surgery rumours have dogged her from the start of her career, Iggy has been remarkably honest about the treatments she’s had. Though many may think that her bootylicious bum is thanks to surgery, the star has maintained that her butt is all hers. In the face of all the gossip, her openness about her journey throughout her rhinoplasty and boob job makes her one of MYA’s favourites.
