In part one of this episode, we welcome MYA Anaesthetist, Dr Vaganov, as he talks about his role with MYA , The Welbeck Hospital and the General Medical Council. Dr Vaganov explains all the precautions that take place behind the scenes before surgery and the length of training that a UK Anesthetist is required to do before becoming qualified. Chloe also highlights the significant difference in safety standards and aftercare between UK surgery and a surgery abroad, and why having strict regulations is important.

In part two,  Dr Vaganov explains how he reassures patients that are worried about being put to sleep and gives an insight into the time it takes from a patient receiving the injection to being asleep. Our hosts, Chloe and Krystina, also share their own experiences with anesthetic whilst discussing the different types of anesthetic.

Dr Vaganov gives his advice  to those considering cosmetic surgery  and touches on the risks of surgery abroad, the importance of strict regulations and why you should question cheap surgery.

Chloe speaks about MYA as a family and explains all the measures the company goes through to make sure a patient is looked after in the best possible way from start to finish.

Part three of this episode talks about pain relief and Dr Vaganov explains how a patients pain is managed after surgery, antibiotics,  and how preparation plays an important role as well as surgical technique.
